Stand Up recognizes that running a workshop is not always practical. In-class presentations are designed to mix both public speaking and interactive activities. In a classroom, presenters are able to create a unique atmosphere where discussions can take place and ideas can be brought forward. Presentations are often catered to compliment current curriculum lessons and have been very effective in a variety of class settings (i.e. civics, global studies, english, data management, entrepreneurial studies, etc.).

Stand Up encourages teachers to be part of the planning for class presentations. We have seen best results when presenters have been able to connect the presentation to what the students are learning. Presentations can be great introductions to assignments such as article writing in journalism, marketing projects, history essays, etc. Our presenters are always enthusiastic to work with teachers and students when planning for an upcoming presentation.
