Stand Up believes that one of the best ways to intrigue students in social justice is by hearing other young students tell them about personal experiences. Each of our public speakers have travelled and worked in volunteering projects overseas. Each of our public speakers is currently a student and understands the challenges with balancing school and a social life with global citizenship. Our public speakers all believe that not being able to do everything is not justification for doing nothing.

We encourage students to make a difference in whatever way they can. We encourage them to listen to their hearts and stand up for whatever cause they feel passionate about. Whether it is the environment, HIV/AIDS, cancer, etc., we believe that students each have a voice and should not think otherwise.

Our public speakers have all faces many barriers and obstacles as students trying to make a difference. At the core, we firmly believe that students do have the ability to stand up and make a difference.
