Workshops

Student Reach hopes to intrigue a student interest in social studies and the humanities. By providing students with information, motivation, and support, Student Reach aims to make valuable contributions to international humanitarian efforts. In our new workshop programs and speaking arrangements, students are encouraged to Reach In to their hearts, Reach Out to their peers, and Reach Beyond all obstacles. Our workshops and speaking arrangements provide students an opportunity to play an integral role in overcoming global poverty.

Students are motivated to raise awareness of social justice issues in their schools, local communities, and greater community. By promoting volunteerism and global compassion, not only can a positive impact be made internationally, but the local community can be enriched and inspired. Through presentations, hands on involvement and interactive activities, students are empowered to make a difference.

Student Reach workshops and speaking arrangements follow a structure tied to our philosophy; Reach In. Reach Out. Reach Beyond. On the right, navigate through each of these sections to gain a better understanding of how we share our message with students. All of our arrangements are altered to fit the group and audience. We encourage the organization inviting us to play an active role in our planning to ensure a successful arrangement.

We are currently looking for students to join the Workshop Committee, a group of students responsible for designing, coordinating and running the workshops. This committee could also be responsible for organizing a student conference for elementary or secondary school students. If you are interested in joining the Workshop Committee, email Brittany Martyn at brittany@student-reach.com
